Bharangi trees are found normally in mountain areas. It is one of the oldest herbs in Indian Ayurveda which is mainly used in Respiratory Issues. It was found and discovered by an ancient sage named Bhrigu. T flower looks like a lotus.

Properties:-It has expectorant, antitoxic, antiseptic, astringent and styptic  properties  and pacify Vata and Kapha  Dosha.

Uses of bharangi:-

1:-  It is useful in cough, cold and asthma

2:-In fever it is beneficial

3:-It improves digestion strength.

4:-It  is helpful in wound healing

5:-It is beneficial in burning sensation and worm infection.

6: It helps reduce inflammation

7:- It is helpful in hiccups, food poisoning, and stomach infection.

How to use Bharangi:-

1:- It root/bark powder ¼ – ½ teaspoon can be taken with honey/water twice a day.

2:- its bark/root decoction/tea can be taken twice a day.

3:- For wound healing apply the paste of leaves directly on the wound.
