Detoxification (Purification) process of seeds:

The seeds of Bhilawa are toxic and it may cause boils on the skin if directly without purification used and applied.

For this purification, the fruits are cut and soaked in cow urine for 7 days and then again in cow milk for the next 7 days.  After this, the cut seed is placed and rolled in brick powder completely so that the remaining oil of bhilawa will be soaked by brick powder. Then after some time when oil completely removed its fruits are washed in water and dried in air and will be ready to use for medicinal purposes.

Uses of bhilawa  Seed:-

1:- It is used as an appetizer which stimulates the digestive system.

2:- It gives relief from constipation, digestive disorder, piles, and worm infections.

3:-It is beneficial in skin rashes and itching

4:- It improve brain intelligence and works as a brain tonic.

How to take Bhilawa:-

1:- Purified bhilawa fruits 1-3 grams twice a day with milk can be taken.

2:- its seed oil can be used externally for various skin issues and rheumatism
