This is evergreen and deciduous trees mostly grow in tropical regions having near about 200 types of species. these trees are a good source of gum, timber, dyes, and tannin.in Tibetan medicine it is known as the king of medicines.its bark, leaves have an important place in folk medicines. It requires fertile sandy soil with good sunlight to grow. Its seeds are sown mostly on 18-24` C temperature.

Properties:- Arjuna is one of the best cardiac tonics. Having somewhat red-colored bark, it is also known for a stress reliever. Arjuna balances Pitta and Kapha doshas. It has antioxidant properties too.

How to take Arjuna:-

1:- ¼ to ½ teaspoon of Arjuna bark powder to be taken twice a day with honey/water after meals.

2:- For acne pimples make a paste of arjuna bark powder, add honey, mix this paste and apply this paste on face after 5-10 minutes wash the face with water.
