This Amaltas tree has yellow flower and sticks as a fruit which is easily identified, flowering time on this seed is in summer season. In india it can be seen on roadsides easily.it is one of the beautiful trees in india.

Properties:- This is cold in potency herb. It pacifies Vata,pitta.and kapha for medicinal purpose all the parts of tree is used under Ayurveda medicines.
Other Uses:-
1:- Its fruit pulp is used for relieving constipation
2:-It is useful in ezema, ring-worm and skin infections.
3:-Consuming amaltas will prove beneficial in intestinal worms.
4:-this herb gives relief in indigestion and abdominal gas.
5:-It has anti-inflammatory properties.
6:- it is an effective expectorant.
7:-The decoction of this herb gives great relief in fever,detox liver,and removes toxins from body.
How to take Amaltas:-
1:- Decoction process:- Take Amaltas pod pulp approx 10 gm. Add Kutki herb powder 1gm. , Add Nagarmotha 2 gm and baheda 2 gm in glass of water , boil this mixture in low flame until half water left. Filter this and drink this decoction 2-3 times a day for some days.
2:- Mix 1-2 teaspoon of pulp in light warm water and drink this water after dinner.
Take care before use:-
it should not be given during pregnancy, lactating period, and children without proper consultancy.
