Nigella Sativa seed is the most important herb which is the popular spice of India, Greece, and in the middle east. Before introducing pepper the black cumin seed is used as a seasoning, it has a spicy fruity taste. As a herb, it has an important place in Islamic medicine and Unani medicine. In Islam prophet, Mohammed said that except old age black cumin seed is a cure for all diseases.
It requires well dry soil and good sunlight for cultivation, its seeds are sown in Autumn.

4:- for abscesses, skin disease it proves helpful
5:- In Asthama, diabetes, hypertension kalonji seeds prove most beneficial.
6:- its seeds are used in food as flavors bread, pastries, meat, chutney, pickles, sauces, etc.
How to use kalonji seed:-
1:- Take ¼ – ½ teaspoon of kalonji powder with lukewarm water or honey twice a day.
