There are almost 200 types of species available worldwide. These trees have foliage arranged in the tier at the tip of branches so it is named as Terminalia means-end in Latin name Terminus. The number of species is used as a source of timber, gums. It is also one holy plant in which fruits are offered to Lord Shiva and one of the important ingredient of Ayurvedic medicine Triphala. It is also known as the King of medicine in Tibetan medicine.

How to take Baheda:-
1:- Take ¼ – ½ teaspoon of baheda powder take this with honey/water once/twice a day after meals.
2:- Take ½ – 1 teaspoon of baheda powder add rose water, make a paste, and apply on skin for acne and scars.
Note:- Excess taken of baheda may cause diarrhea and vomiting.
