As the name suggests Amarbel these types of plants have no roots and no green parts. They grow on host trees and get the nutrition from them (host tree). Dodder Doesn`t grow above all plants but there are only some suitable host pants on which it grows.

Properties:- It is a sweet herb, used in the disorder of spleen, kidneys, and liver. It is a carminative and purgative Ayurvedic herb.

Other uses:-

1:- It is used for diarrhea

2:- It is effective in impotence

3:- In Frequent urinary it proves helpful.

4:- In vaginal infection Dodder is helpful.

5:- It increases the eyesight which is associated with liver and kidney weakness.

6:- It detoxifies the liver

7:- It is used in hair fall and dandruff.

8:- Its Powder can be applied externally on wounds with honey mixed with other herbs to reduce skin rashes, allergies,

9:- It is effective on Alopecia

How to take Amarbel:-

1. For mental weakness 5-10 m.l. its juice to drink twice a day

2:-For hair fall, alopecia Amarbel has to be fried in coconut, Shisham or any other oil in low flame and apply this oil on the scalp.

3:- for hair fall and dandruff Amarbel to be boil in the water when half water left, from this leftover water hair to be washed.

4:-It can also be consumed in kwath form Take 5-10 grams of Amarbel powder or whole bel, add a glass of water and boil this mixture in the pan in low flame until half water left. Filter the water with help of a sieve and drink this kwath 4-5 teaspoon twice a day. Honey can be added if required.

5:- Else it can be taken in powder form Half teaspoon with honey or swallow with water.
