Ashoka Tree is one of the ancient and sacred tree found of india. Ashoka means to get relief from grief. It is a tree which is known for reducing sorrow. It has high religion significance and is worshipped in most of parts of india. It is also said that lord Buddha birth was under this tree. As it manage most of female related problem so also know as friend of women.

Properties:- it has cool potency. It has anti thirst, anti-dyspeptic, astringent, analgesic, cardio healing, diuretic, and antipyretic properties.

Uses:-

1:- It helps reduce the pain of Dysmenorrhea (Periods)

2:- it is beneficial in Menorrhagia ( Heavy menstrual bleeding)

3:- It is also known for beneficial in piles

4:- In joint pains, it helps to relieve from pain

5:- In Leucorrhea it proves beneficial.

6:- Like Arjuna ( Ashoka ) also plays an important role in the cardiotonic.

7:- It is beneficial in hypertension.

8:- It has detoxifying properties that improve skin complexion.

9:- As it has cooling properties so it reduces burning sensation.

How to take Ashoka:-

1:- Take ¼ – ½ teaspoon of Ashoka bark powder, consume this with honey/water twice a day after meals.

2:- Can be taken as teas, Kwath form – Boil the Ashoka bark powder in a glass of water, when half water left to filter the water and this filtered water can be taken as 2-3 times a day 8-10 teaspoon.

3:-Take a powder of Ashoka mix it with water making thick paste apply this paste to the pain-affected area on the body. For wound healing make a paste with honey and apply on the wounded area.
